Some outdoor spaces just need a structure that pulls everything together. A flat patch of land with a great view is nice, but add a solid timber frame pavilion with a standing seam metal roof, and suddenly you've got a destination. That's exactly what we were going for here.

Timber frame builds are some of our favorites to work on - and honestly, it's not hard to see why. There's something about the heavy post-and-beam construction that feels both rugged and refined at the same time. The wood does a lot of the heavy lifting visually, while the dark metal roof keeps things sharp and weather-tight for the long haul.

What makes a structure like this worth the investment is how it holds up over time. Timber framing isn't a shortcut method. The joinery, the post sizing, the bracket work at the corners - all of it is done with the understanding that this thing needs to stand strong for decades, not just a season or two. We're not in the business of building something that looks good in photos and falls apart in five years.

The setting here is wide open - rolling green hillside, room to breathe, and a fire pit nearby. The pavilion fits the land without fighting it. That's the goal with every build like this: make it feel like it belongs there. Seating for a crowd, a grill tucked under cover, Adirondack chairs on the edge - it's ready to be used from day one.
