Storm damage doesn't wait for a convenient time. Trees come down when they want - and when they fall across a creek or into usable field space, the problem compounds fast. Blocked water flow, wasted acreage, and a safety hazard all rolled into one.
Here's what we were working with on this one: four large trees had come down and landed right across a creek, with roots, branches, and debris spread across a good chunk of the surrounding field. It wasn't a small cleanup. These were big trees with big root balls, tangled brush, and logs thick enough that you couldn't just drag them out by hand.
We brought in the full crew and the right equipment to get it done efficiently. The excavator handled the heavy lifting - literally - moving large log sections that would have been impossible to budge otherwise. The Kubota skid steer worked alongside it, pushing debris and clearing the field area. Chainsaws broke down the material, and a Vermeer wood chipper processed the brush on-site so it didn't have to be hauled off in pieces. That's what it takes to knock out a job like this in a single day.
Clearing those trees off the creek does more than just make the property look better. It opens the water flow back up, which matters for drainage and erosion control down the line. And getting those logs and debris out of the field gives the landowner that space back - space that was just sitting there buried under a pile of storm damage.
Jobs like this are exactly what our land clearing and skid steer services are built for. Big debris, tight spots near water, heavy material - it's not always a clean or easy job, but the right crew with the right equipment makes it manageable.
